Use of the site

All products offered by BioSeek Marketplace can be purchased by scientific workers, research institutions, organizations and clients from the public sector. The products can be used in diagnostic labs, science labs, production units, etc.

After you make a purchase from the BioSeek Marketplace, you exclusively state and guarantee that you will check and use each product, purchased from BioSeek Marketplace, in complete accordance with all industry standards.

RIDACOM and our authorized distributors reserve the right to refuse any order the purposes of which they consider non-compliant with their rules and best practices.

Ordering procedures

Orders can be placed in the following ways:

  3. By placing its order for a specific product, the Customer makes a binding offer to conclude a contract. Where the Customer orders online, its binding order online will be sent to RIDACOM when it clicks the "Submit order" button at the end of the order process.

  4. Where the Customer orders online, RIDACOM will send the Customer an acknowledgement of receipt by email after the order has been received. The fact that RIDACOM sends an acknowledgement of receipt does not constitute acceptance of the Customer’s offer on its part.

  5. Irrespective of the way in which the order is placed, a contract is concluded by our sending the Customer an order confirmation within five working days.

  6. The Customer is obliged to check that the information contained in the order confirmation is correct and to notify us of any errors within two working days. If no errors are reported to us, the contract will take effect on the terms set out in the order confirmation.

  7. The contract is concluded subject to the proviso that our suppliers deliver their goods and services to us in full and on time. This proviso does not apply to short-term defaults in delivery or in those cases in which we are responsible for failure to deliver. We will notify the Customer without delay if the goods are not available. Any payments which the Customer has already made will be immediately refunded.

New customers may be required to fill out an Accounts Payable form. Please contact RIDACOM for a copy and further details.

Pricing policy – payment methods and quotations for bulk quantities

Prices do not include packaging, freight, VAT, duties and taxes or other miscellaneous charges. These are payable by the Customer and will be shown separately as will VAT on the order confirmation/invoice.

Purchase Order is 100% advance payment.

The client is charged on the day of confirmation of the order.

Discounts are available for large quantities or bulk orders. Please contact us for more information.

Quotes may only be used once and are valid for the next 30 days.

Cancellation of order

Orders may not be cancelled later than receiving an Order confirmation after time of order.

Orders may not be cancelled after the product has shipped.

Promotions and special offers

Promotions and special offers are subject to change without prior notice.

Product Availability

All products have a different lead time. Please inquire for estimated delivery when placing an order.

Shipping service

Delivery dates are approximate and do not include time needed for customs clearance. Shipping is via TNT (or via DHL/UPS depends on the country).

We offer courtesy billing to furnished DHL, UPS, etc. account information provided by the customer - we can invoice shipping costs regarding existing customer contracts with shipping providers.

The majority of our products are shipped with coolers, blue gel ice packs.

Products that require dry ice are subject to an additional cost.

RIDACOM is not responsible for customs clearance fees.

RIDACOM ships all products through TNT Express service unless the customer has their own courier.

RIDACOM is not responsible for the delay of a package which can be caused by the delay of a plane, weather conditions, mechanical issues, etc.

RIDACOM has no control or responsibility of a package going through a custom clearance and/or in clearance delay that can be caused by missing import permit, duties and taxes payment, etc. It is the customer's responsibility to submit import permit, remit payment for duties and taxes, and/or any paperwork needed from the consignee. Packages going through customs clearance and/or clearance delay may be in customs for several days or weeks. Some facilities may or may not have the refrigeration available to keep packages cool. It is the customer's responsibility to contact customs/TNT/their courier and have the necessary paperwork in order to clear a package. RIDACOM will not be responsible for the damages made to a product for the lack of refrigeration.

Product returns

Under no circumstances may any product be returned to RIDACOM Ltd.

Product performance

If the product you receive is not in good condition then please contact RIDACOM. We will determine if the product needs to be replaced or not.

If the product ordered is not performing as expected then please contact RIDACOM. We will work with you if any corrective action will be necessary.

It is the responsibility of the customer to report packaging issues to RIDACOM immediately upon receiving the shipment. For product performance issues, please inform RIDACOM within 30 days of receipt of the product.

RIDACOM is not responsible for the performance of products that have expired.

Warranties

Due to the nature of RIDACOM products, information about their characteristics (ingredients, quantities, technical data etc.) can only be treated as approximate values. The same applies to information provided by us and our providers in the product datasheets. Minimal deviations that are customary in the industry will not entitle the Customer to any warranty claims.

This is feasible in the ordinary course of business, the Customer will check the product supplied immediately after delivery by RIDACOM to see whether it is of the quality that is specified in the product description.

The Customer will notify us of any defects without delay. If the Customer does not notify us of any defects, the goods will be deemed accepted unless the defect was such that it could not be discovered at the time of the examination. If the Customer uses or processes the goods, it will also be deemed to have accepted them as being in conformity with the contract and it will be excluded from making any warranty claims unless the products’ defects could only be determined through using/processing them.

RIDACOM's liability under any warranties as to the characteristics or durability of the goods and our liability for fraudulent concealment of a defect, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health, remains unaffected by the aforegoing provisions. In these cases, the statutory provisions/statutory warranty periods apply.

Use of BioSeek Marketplace

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our website and the information contained here. BioSeek Marketplace site may contain tools that allow you to search and retrieve information. You are not allowed and may not sell, rent, lease, transfer any services provided on this site.

You may not post material or information that is false, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive or discriminatory to another user or any other person or entity.

You may not run any script, program or software that collects information from our server without our written permission.

We may monitor your use of the site to offer you a more personalized experience, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms and Conditions of use. Please refer to our Privacy Notice for more information.
